By accessing or using Recipe Book ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Recipe Book is a recipe management application that allows you to:

• Create, store, and organize your recipes
• Create collections to group related recipes
• Share recipes publicly with other users
• Discover recipes shared by the community
• Scan recipe images using OCR technology
• Import recipes from YouTube cooking videos (via AI)

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• One person may not maintain multiple accounts

4. User Content

Ownership

You retain ownership of all recipes and content you create on the Service. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to store, display, and (if marked public) share your content with other users.

Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content you post. You agree not to post:

• Content that infringes on others' intellectual property rights
• False, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Content that is illegal, harmful, or offensive
• Spam or unauthorized advertising

Recipe Accuracy

We do not verify the accuracy or safety of user-submitted recipes. Users should exercise their own judgment when following recipes, especially regarding food allergies and cooking safety.

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Scrape or harvest data from the Service without permission
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Use automated systems to access the Service without permission

6. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and branding (excluding user content), is owned by The Privacy App team and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our intellectual property without permission.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Privacy App team from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on the Service. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
